REEFILLA is an innovative Italian startup offering a mobile and predictive charging delivery service, designed to meet the needs of electric vehicle (EV) users.
Our job was to create from scratch the app for Reefilla customers considering all the steps of the service journey and the app service integrations.
To design an intuitive and delightful app that connects EV users with on-demand charging services while incorporating predictive technology to anticipate user needs, and enhance convenience.

WHAT: The app has been completely designed starting from users’ needs and service optimization studies, simplifying the customer journey and reducing the user touchpoints and ease the user's effort. By interviewing both EV owners and operators to understand their specific pain points and behaviors regarding charging needs and mobility, the research revealed key insights, such as the frustration of finding charging stations and the importance of accurate, real-time availability predictions that we included in the service experience.

We delivered around 50 screens and the Figma design system with interactive prototypes.

ROLE: I was responsible for leading the entire design process. This included conducting user research, developing personas and user journeys, wireframing, prototyping, and setting usability tests. I collaborated closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of predictive technology into the app. My role was instrumental in delivering a product that met both user needs and business goals.
